Lenox Ambulance and Bedford Ambulance will be merging into a county-wide service in the fall of 2012. There will be a public meeting Thurs., April 5 at the Lenox Community Center at 7 p.m. with representatives from the Taylor County Board of Supervisors, Alegent Health, Lenox Ambulance, and others, available to explain the merger and answer questions the public may have regarding the merger.

Advanced EMT class began January 23 at the Lenox Ambulance Station. Click HERE for the schedule if you are interested in attending for continuing education or if you are an EMT-I who wishes to transition to AEMT.

The Lenox Ambulance Service is authorized as a transport ambulance service by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of EMS.
